Embracing the Outdoors
Your child will enjoy our thoughtfully designed natural school garden, where they can explore, take risks, drive a toy car, dig and plant, cook in our mud kitchen, play in the sandpit, or read a story in our cozy outdoor house.
Our play area features elements that are part of nature or made from natural materials, such as logs, stones, sand, water, wood, and wood chip trails. It offers space for children to run and play, along with movable natural and prefabricated materials that encourage creativity and allow them to construct new objects.
At Little Gems, we believe that outdoor play is not only fun but essential to your child’s physical, social, and cognitive development. That’s why we ensure they spend time in our garden every day.

Forest School
Our children in Lindford pre-school benefit from Forest school activities every Thursday morning. We are lucky to be based a walking distance from the local woodlands that provide exceptional learning opportunities for our children.
Forest School is a child-centred inspirational learning process, that offers opportunities for holistic growth through our weekly sessions.
There are many benefits of Forest school such an increase in self-belief, confidence, learning capacity, enthusiasm, communication and problem-solving skills and emotional well-being.
The weekly Forest school sessions are definitely highlight of the week for many of our little ones.
